Newton's three laws seem to be influencing all that surrounds me and ultimately has conditioned me to believe certain things. The nature of nature is such that the mystery can not be reduced to three underlying principles to define the way things work. Entropy is such a half full way of being but i am with the idea that suggests thingness is an eternal phenomena of dynamic transformation. i aam not sure what the one in middle has to do with me.

The satirical labeling of our culture as energy efficient is as oxymoronic as a statement like "military intelligence" or the "US department of Justice", they are just words and ahve no real meaning in reality.

I am not sure if you mean Decartes or the Cartesian split itself, either way thinking and being or substantiating existence through the social mechanism called consciousness creates an inherent duality.
